TR 19: Guide To Good Practice HVCA published TR19 in order to give guidance to good practice and to establish standards for testing, cleaning and verification of the internal cleanliness of ventilation systems. If the system is not cleaned properly, fire can spread rapidly since the ductwork runs through the entire building to reach a roof level exhaust putting the whole building and its occupants in the event of fire risk.
